The Maston paint is not as good as Halfords when it comes to application. It's lower pressure than Halfords but if you work quickly you can get a nice flat coat. I mucked up by adding a second coat and got some orange peel by not working quickly enough the second time around.

Halfords really is easy in comparison.

I guess I was not sure the cap colour these days is the actual paint colour. Can you see from the underside of the cap if is sprayed?

The cap is grey plastic, so sprayed.
