I have considered Pendon to be the holy grail of railway modeling, but I think Crook Street is it's equal if not better!
An absolute tour-de-force, must have taken many years to build.

I also spotted that today John. What I can't work out is where he has put that stretch of double track on an embankment, there just isn't room for it in the room, so I wonder if it is maybe a photo shelf or test track separate from the layout. It must be quite long though to get a full train run through it. Maybe someone who reads his thread on the GOG Forum might know?Cheers,

The room which i believe is his basement is not that large and yet when you see the video's it looks a lot bigger . There are photos of it posted on the GOG web site and also a layout diagram .
