Trago Mills today

We were passing Trago Mills, Newton Abbot, today and called in to see if there was anything happening ahead of their steam gala this weekend and found them running a couple of empty test trains.
There are not that many 10 1/4" gauge Robinson 2-8-0's about and the Leek and Manifold 2-6-4t looked a treat as well.
We will be calling in tomorrow as well.

I didn't notice any bible salesmen but I wasn't on the market for one so didn't look too hard.
Julian,
I am sorry, the 280 eluded us all day, a combination of some operational issues and one of our dogs being rather poorly.
I recall one of the drivers saying on Friday that it had been built by his Father/Father in law, so a local Devon product maybe.

Dog issue on the way to being resolved after some open wallet surgery at a local vets.

Not Trago but the SDR at Buckfastleigh.
Nick Salzman's 3mm scale Yeoton Wharf is now in the goods shed museum.
In a rather scruffy pespex case which limited the photo opportunities somewhat



Unfortunately the train was hauled by a little green boxy thing....
