Would the Ratio GWR signal box windows fit? I've used them for all sorts of non GWR applications, though I have to admit that in some cases I've fudged the window opening measurements to suit. No-one has picked me up on this, yet.

It won't unfortunately as the cabins had some larger windows and various different sizes of windows.

They're lovely buildings though :)

I've temporarily given up with signal box windows so having a little change. I used to do lots of things with buses but not so much in recent years. Yorkshire Dave's recent post got me thinking.

Post in thread 'Yorky D's Küchentisch: Head towards....' Yorky D's Küchentisch: Head towards....

I love how buses can tell the observer where and when a layout is set, so this seems like a good subject for North Lincolnshire.

A Series 3 EFE ECW Bristol VRT was stripped down - beneath typical diecast manufacturer paint lies lovely tooling.

In white ready for the green and yellow. Masking has begun.

The plan is to fit new glazing and replacement vents from MH Models but now available here -http://www.paragonkits.com/details.htm

It'll be interesting to see the VRT progress. I also see you have cut out the destination box.

The only thing I would have also done prior to priming is add the missing panel lines to the lower and upper decks and the central cantrail - which I do with car headlight repair tape cut into thin strips.

The panel lines are missing from a lot of EFE models which to me jars - apart from the recently retooled Routemasters. I suspect it's more than likely to do with fleet name and advertisement printing.
